“Relentless, Repetitive Self-Talk is what changes our self-image.”

Denis Waitley
Reflection:
There is a book I read regarding something called “Auto-suggestion”,
which refers to the idea of convincing yourself that you are something as opposed to caving in to your insecurities. I
believe that this is what Denis Waitley was hinting at, and it’s a very true
statement. When you look in the mirror, when you look at yourself and say, “I
hate my hair, I hate my acne, I hate how I look”, THAT is self-talk, and the
more you say it, the more you believe it. More than that, more your believe the
negative things that you say, the more you make it true.
